The music group consists of the members Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. The group was started from the year 1984 and it was broken in 1994. The first music album had written and arranged by the Donnie. Again in 1999 MTV tried to reunite the music group to make them to perform in a year’s show. The music group not able to perform that MTV shows so they had dropped that plan to reunite them. In a site CNN.com they have announced that the band members will get reunited on April 3rd 2008. In that year they come with the new music album and also them gone for a tour.

The music album’s second single “Stop It Girl” was not inducted well than the first music single. Their second music album “Hanging Tough” had received more attentions. The first music single of the album was “Please Don’t Go Girl” was released in the September of 1988. In a radio station the music band’s song was most wanted. So the Columbia records decided to continue with the music group. Then the song was climbed to the 10th position in the Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart. It was the music ban’s first achievement. Then the second music single “You Got It” was released. Then the music single “I’ll Be Loving You” was reached to the number 1 position in the Billboard Hot 100 singles. In the May the music group had released their music album “Step by Step” which was featured by the members. The first music single it was the title track and it ranked to number one on the Hot 100 singles chart. At the year end Columbia records released the music album “No More Games” which is The Remix Album”. In 1992 the music band had released a new music single “If You Go Away”. The song became the top 20 hit and also it climbed to the position at 16. The music band’s final music single was “Dirty Dawg” peaking to the position 66 on the Billboard Top 100.

After reunion of the music band the songs in their new music album was “Click Click Click”, “Close to You”, “Looking Like Danger”, “Big Boy/Big Girl” and also “Sexify My Love” and “Summertime”. The music album “Hanging Tough” was certified as Platinum by the RIAA. This music album reached to number one in US and also in United Kingdom. Then the music album “Step by Step” contains the music singles “Tonight”, “Let’s Try It Again” and “Valentine Girl”. The music album was also certified as 3x platinum by RIAA.
