The music band was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1998. One of the member of the musical troop Chris Kirkpatrick had decided forming a pop song group. Then he recruited young male singers Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. Kirkpatrick, Timberlake, and Chasez approached Joey Fatone. The group's name was formed on the letters of each member's first names JustiN, ChriS, Joey, Jason and Jc.

The music band released their first music album “*NSYNC” on May 26, 1998. But before they decided to released this music album they delivered the music single "I Want You Back". The song reached a top 10 hit song in Germany in 1998. The they released the music albums "Tearin' Up My Heart" and "Here We Go" with expressive lyrical songs. Songs in this music album made freeze all music lovers in Europe. The music group also released their American first music single, "I Want You Back" in January 1998. The group released their second music single "Tearin' Up My Heart" song.This song was regular playing song on MTV. In the year of 2003 the Grammy Awards celebration the music troop invited to sing the Bee Gees Melody. This performace was the group's last televised performance. The last public performance for 'N Sync was filmed at the group's 2004 Annual Challenge for the Children. With the same place the music group performed the Star Spangled Banner song. The music group decided that the final performance of Star Spangled Banner was the first song, the group ever sang together.
