Formation of the music group

The music group “The Four Tops” was recorded the jazz music for the company label “Motown” records. The music singles “The Supremes”, “Run, Run, Run” and “When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes” was filled by singing the songs on the Motown records. Then the music record company Motown had decided to expertise the song as a main pop song for the music troop and then they decided to create the song “Baby I Need You Loving” from the lyric less instrumental music track. This song targeted the United States Billboard Pop Song chart in the year mid of 1964 and made it to be the position of 11. Then the musical band gave the first music single “Without the One You Love (Life’s Not Worth While)” had missed the both pop song chart and R&B Top 40 charts by three steps positions. The song "Ask the Lonely" was released in1965 it was a Top 30 pop hit song and a Top Ten R&B hit song. From this song the Tops' talents began to improve in their musical career.

The music band gave the 1st hit then after that they recorded and restarted the song "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)" in April 1965. Then the music band began to give a successful hit music singles. The hit music singles were "It's the Same Old Song", "Something About You", "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)", and "Loving You is Sweeter Than Ever" was given by the musicians. The music record company Motown sound was often represented the essence of music, quick understandable lyrics and also the rhythematic contributions was given the music troop. The song “Reach Out I’ll Be There” was one of the musician the biggest hit song by the Motown in the year of 1966. which hits the number one on the US pop song chart and also it was named as The Top’s signature song in future.

After the music troop gave the successful hits they started on touring and live performances in the 1980s. So they recorded one music album “Christmas Here With You” in 1995. In 1997 the one of the musician in the group Payton was died because of liver cancer on June 20, 1997. One of the music single in the year of 1971 "A Simple Game" was featured from members of The Moody Blues. The song did not reach on the U.S. music charts, but reached the 3rd position on the UK music charts. The group was nominated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, and also into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. Rolling Stone magazine ranked this music band for 79 on their list of the Greatest Artists of All Time in the year of2004.
