Initially that musical group was named as “Girl’s Tyme” with the members of Beyonce, Roberson and Kelly. Because of Knowles and Rowland the music band was attracted audience nationally. In a national TV there was a talent show named as “Star Search Music” so the music band decided to deal with that and want to debut that. They participated but they lost the talent show because they used rap kind of song instead of singing the song.

were sold for three million copies worldwide and it was certified as platinum. The music group awarded for three Soul Train Lady of Soul awards. They are Best R&B/Soul song Single for Group, Band or Duo, Best R&B/Soul or Rap song. Then for the song "No, No, No" she won Best R&B/Soul song Album of the Year, Group, Band, or Duo.

Luckett and Roberson were decided to split with their manager in 1990 because of the music video for "Say My Name" song filmed in February 2000, Roberson and Luckett were surprised to find two new members Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin joining Knowles and Rowland. They both took legal action in March, proscuting both Knowles and their band mates for breaking up of partnership. Because of some persons within a five months Franklin left the music group. Later it made less controversial. At the end of the year 2000 Roberson and Luckett had decided to left the case against Rowland and Knowles with some exchange of settlements as a in the agreement.

The music album “1’s” was released by the music group on October 25th 2005. It contains more hit songs. The compilation music album contains the number one hit music songs of the music band including "Independent Woman Part 1", "Say My Name" and "Bootylicious". They have added bonus tracks for the compilation music album which includes "Stand Up For Love", which was recorded for the theme song of World Children's Day, and "Check on It", a song Knowles recorded for The Pink Panther's music track. The music album “1’s” was also delivered as a DualDisc which was featured in the same track listing including seven videos of selected songs and also a trailer of Destiny's Child: Live in Atlanta concert DVD. The short film was taken during the Atlanta visit of the Destiny Fulfilled And Lovin' It tour, and was released on March 28, 2006.
