The musician Adamo’s full name was Salvatore Adamo. He was born in Sicily at Comiso on November 1,1943. Adamo was not so familiar as much as, compared to other singers At the age of eight to ten he himself realised that he able to sing a song. He himself thought that he was born for his music. So he participated in many music competitions in his school level. But he did not qualified in such music competition. He completed his higher education as well as an academic musical studies.

In the year 1960 “Radio Luxembourg” organised a Radio Competition at Theatre Royal De Mons. Adamo participate in Radio music competition, but as usual, he did not win that music competition, but judges give him an another opportunity to go for the next round. Then he was selected and win the competition. So Radio Luxembourg finally broadcast his first song “Si j’osais”. After his twentieth age he attained the highest level in the music, by releasing a number of songs that reaches the number one in the music chart. Some of the hit songs are” Sans Toi Mamie” in the year 1963, and “Vous Permetter Monseieur”, “Quand Les Roses”, and “Dolce Paola” in the year 1964.”Last Onze Kinderen Dromen” (Let The Children Dream)”, and “II Zie Een Engel (I See An Angel) songs of the music album was released in Belgium in Dutch Language. He sing a song in Russia, is “Si tu etis” the meaning for the song is “If You Were”. This song is printed and teached as a poem for the French students. Adamo was become a successful singers in Europe and Belgium by his passionate music and his vocal capability. Adamo music album is sold over eighty million copies throughout the world. Adamo was influenced by the music of Victor Hugo, Jacques Prevert and George Brassers and the Italian Canzoetto and Tango. However he recorded a collection of songs from Napoli, he used to sung the song only in French.
