The Heavy Metal music band Iron maiden was formed in 1975 in East London, England. The music band was sold over 100 millions of music records worldwide. The bassist Steve Harris formed this music band with Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Nicko McBrain and Adrian Smith. In early career, they had released the demo music “The Soundhouse Tapes”. This demo has included only three songs. One of the songs “Prowler” reached to the number 1 position on Neal Kay’s Heavy Metal Soundhouse charts. In 1980, the band was released a compilation album “Metal for Muthas”.

In 1986, the music band was released their concept studio music album “Somewhere in Time”. The song “Wasted Years” were peaked better position on many countries singles chart. “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son” is a next conceptual album by the band, released on 1988.This music album was topped number 1 position on UK albums chart. The music band next hit music album “No Prayer for the Dying” was released on 1990. “Bring Your Daughter….to the Slaughter” song is number 1 hit song on UK. After success of No Prayer for the Dying, they are released the music album “Fear of the Dark” on 1992. In 1995, the music band was released the music album The X Factor and in 1998, they are released Virtual XI music album. These two albums were not biggest hit than their previous albums but the albums are reached better position on many musical chart.

Status for the Music Band

The Iron Maiden music band was won Ivor Novello Awards in 2002. In VH1’s “100 Greatest Artist of Hard Rock” list gave 24th rank to this music band and also 4th rank on MTV’s “Top 10 Greatest Heavy Metal Bands of All Time” Chart. In 2005, the music band was inducted into Hollywood Rock Walk in US.
