He was musician, singer-songwriter, and Rastafarian. After the death of his father, Bob Marley and his mother shifted their home to Kingston's Trenchtown. Marley suffered a lot by racial prejudice. There he got a friend named Neville "Bunny" Livingston. Bob Marley and Livingston started to play music. Bob Marley is a singer, song writer and also he knows to play the music instrument guitar. He worked with the music band The Wailers. Their music geners were ska, rocksteady and reggae. By his musical efforts the Jamaican music were spreaded throughout the world.
Bob Marley released his two single in the year 1962, they are the song "Judge Not" and the song "One Cup of Coffee". Those songs were produced by a local music producer Leslie Kong. Those songs were re-released later as Songs of Freedom, a collection of Marley's work.

In 1963, Bob Marley, Bunny Livingston, Peter McIntosh, Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith joined togather and they found a musical band called "The Teenagers". They changed their music band’s name into "The Wailing Wailers" at last they named their music band as “The Wailers”. They signed up with a producer Coxsone Dodd. In 1966 Braithwaite, Kelso, and Smith had left The Wailers. Now the music band become trios with Marley, Livingston, and McIntosh. The music bands “The Wailers” first album, was “Catch A Fire”. This musical album was released worldwide in 1973. It gave them a commercial hit. The songs "Get Up, Stand Up" and "I Shot The Sheriff" gave international recoganisation. The song "No Woman, No Cry," from the “Natty Dread” music album gave him a international breakthrough outside Jamaica. Then he released music album called “Rastaman Vibration” in 1976. The musics and songs from the album stayed on top ten for four weeks on Billboard.
In 1976 he recorded the music albums “Exodus”and “Kaya”. The music “Exodus” stayed and peaked on the British album charts for 56 contineous weeks. The four songs gave him a great hit, they are "Exodus", "Waiting In Vain", "Jamming", "One Love". In 1980 the musical album “Uprising” was released. It was Bob Marley's final studio album . The album includes the songs "Redemption Song" and "Forever Loving Jah". The song "Redemption Song" got great success. The album “Confrontation” was released on 1983 it contains unreleased materials by Marley including the song "Buffalo Soldier".
In 1978 he released “Babylon by Bus”. It is a twin live album with 13 musical tracks. The final song "Jammin” and its live performances captured audience.
The music album “Survival” was released in 1979, its was a political album. Songs such as "Zimbabwe", "Africa Unite", "Wake Up and Live", and "Survival" showed Marley's direct support for the struggles of Africans. In July 1979 he appeared at the Amandla Festival in Boston, this showes his strong opposition to South African apartheid. He already showed is oppositionthrough his song "War" in 1976. In 1980, he was invited to perform at the April 17 celebration of Zimbabwe's Independence Day.
