Chris stein joined in the music band “The Stilettos” as a guitarist in 1973. Deborah Harry is a vocalist and they become friends. They both had created a new musical group with the drummer Clem Burke, a keyboard player Jimmy Destri and a bassist Gart Valentine. Initially the musical band billed as “Angel and the Snake” later the band renamed themselves as “Blondie” in late 1975. “Blondie” is an American music band formed in the year 1977. The musical band pioneered in America with their rock music and new wave scenes. The music group’s first two music albums which was persuaded with the group that contains the strong elements. They got more successes in the countries like the United Kingdom and Australia. The musical band Blondie was considered as an underground band in the United States. After the release of “Parallel Lines” in the year 1978 they got recognition in U.S. In next three years, the musical band gave more music singles and hit songs to the music lovers. The musical band got success for its electric mix of musical styles. They incorporated the elements of disco, pop and reggae. They retained a basic style. Lead singer Deborah Harry from the musical band “Blondie” achieved great position this made tension within the group. Due to followed poor music album. The members from the band pursued other projects. The musical band Blondie's group reunioned in the year1997. They renewed their success by giving a number one music single "Maria" in the United Kingdom in 1999. The musical band toured and performed their songs and music albums throughout the world.

The music band Blondie's first commercial success happened in Australia in the year1977. They took part in a music television program “Countdown”. The music band had played the video version of the music album "In the Flesh", which was the B-side of their current single "X-Offender". The songs and music from the music album had reached the top position in Australia. In 1977 the musical band released their second album, “Plastic Letters” . This album was produced by Chrysalis Records and they promoted this music album throughout Europe and Asia. The music album's first track song, "Denis", was a cover version of Randy and the Rainbows' 1963 hit. It reached second position in the British singles charts. The song was liked by all and the music was very nice to hear. By this musical album Blondie become one of the first American new wave bands to achieve mainstream success in the United Kingdom and has so far the music group has sold over 40 million records. The music album songs and lyrics are widely reached and received by music fans. Blondie's third musical album was “Parallel Lines”. The musical album was produced by Mike Chapman. Their fourth musical album was “Eat to the Beat”. In U.S. the songs from the album failed to achieve success. In the UK, the single song "Atomic" reached number one position, the song "Dreaming" got number two position and the song "Union City Blue" hitted on top 20 hit, whereas in the U.S. their songs from this album did not hit the chart.
