Anne Murray was born on June 20, 1945 in Springhills at Nova Scotia. She sang songs like pop, country and Adult Contemporary with her contralto voice. Murray was the first female canadian singer to reach No.1 position on U.S chart. She is a solo singer. She was the first female to get gold record for the song “Snowbird”. She got interest towards music and started studing piano. For 6 years she learned piano and she took voice lesson on her 15th age. Anne’s friend encouraged to participate in CBC music television show “Singalong Jubilee” in the year 1960. She got a chance on a television show “Let’s Go”.The soundtracks were released by Arc Records.

she started doing musical albums. Her first musical album was “What About Me” was released in the year 1968. The song was produced by Brian Ahern. Anne Murray released the second music album called as “This Way Is My Way”. This music album and songs were released on the year 1969. The song “Snowbird” taken her for a successful carrer. The song “snowbird” reached No.1 position on Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the year 1970. During the year 1972 she gave a hit song “Danny’s Song”. In 1973 Anne Murray released the song “A Love Song” which became a huge hit. The song "He Thinks I Still Care" and her Top 10 cover of The Beatles' "You Won't See Me" were the wonderful song with good musics released by the year 1974. Her all time ever green song called as “You Needed Me” was released by the year 1978. The most commercial hit single and biggest pop music by Anne Murray was the song “I Just Fall In Love Again”. Her songs began to taper off by the mid of the year 1980. "Now and Forever (You and Me)" song was released and this was Anne Murray’s last No.1 hit . Anne's latest music album is “Anne Murray Duets: Friends & Legends”. This music album was released in November 2007 in Canada and January 2008 in the U.S. The music album consists of 17 tracks.
